Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho's stunning strike against Ipswich Town has been nominated for the Premier League Goal of the Month Award for April.

Sancho is one of eight players up for the award, with voting closing at noon on Monday and the winner being announced on Friday 9 May at 1pm BST.

The Blues were 2-1 down to Ipswich as we entered the final quarter of an hour when Sancho controlled Cole Palmer's pass just inside the penalty area and curled a dipping strike into the far, top corner to ensure we left the Bridge with a point.

Sancho is up against strikes from Anthony Elanga (vs Man United), Alexis Mac Allister (vs Fulham), Ollie Watkins (vs Southampton), Pablo Sarabia (vs Man United), Jean-Philippe Mateta (vs Arsenal) plus Yasin Ayari and Carlos Baleba (both vs Brighton & Hove Albion).
