Signed by the Blues from Southampton in January 2023, Morgan was a regular for our Under-21s the following season and featured for our Under-18s in the FA Youth Cup.

He impressed during the first half of the 2024/25 campaign, scoring eight goals in eleven Premier League 2 matches for our Under-21s, and joined Gillingham on loan for the remainder of the season in January.

Morgan made 16 appearances for the Gills and struck twice. He will now make the step up to League One and we look forward to supporting Jimmy-Jay throughout his time at London Road.
