The Chelsea accolades keep on coming for Joao Pedro, with the Brazilian’s strike against Leeds being crowned as our February Goal of the Month.

Fresh off the back of winning last month's Player of the Month award, and scooping the Player of the Match from our win at Aston Villa following his hat-trick, our No.20 has made it a treble of internal awards with the February Goal of the Month prize the latest to be added to his collection.

His finish against Daniel Farke’s side was, lest we forget, one of pure quality and a deserved winner of the monthly award.

Picking up a Cole Palmer through ball, the Brazilian takes a perfect touch with his right to draw out the goalkeeper, before delicately dinking the ball over Karl Darlow and into the back of the net.

It wasn’t enough for us to secure the three points that our performance deserved, as Leeds hit back with two late goals to share the spoils at Stamford Bridge that evening.

However, it’s a richly deserved accolade for Joao Pedro who held off the competition from Cole Palmer, to win by a single per cent via the vote on the Chelsea Official App.

Joao Pedro’s goal claimed 33 per cent of the vote, while Palmer’s final strike from his hat-trick in our win at Wolves – a fine finish into the roof of the net – took second place with 32 per cent. Pedro Neto’s first against Hull was in third with 22 per cent.

Congratulations once again, Joao!
