Joao Pedro says the Blues' Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Paris Saint-Germain is an opportunity to ''show everyone our power', with our Brazilian forward urging supporters to believe in a dramatic turnaround at Stamford Bridge.

After a disappointing first leg in Paris last week, which saw the Blues fall to a 5-2 defeat, Joao Pedro appreciates we have it all to do in the return fixture in SW6. But the confidence within our squad is unwavering.

The Blues have also produced magical moments on Champions League nights at the Bridge, including the comeback from 3-1 down against Napoli in 2012 and our dramatic turnaround from the same scoreline against PSG in 2014.

Those moments are etched into the club's history – and JP is hopeful of adding another against Luis Enrique's side, who we overcame by three goals in last summer's Club World Cup final.

‘I think this week has been difficult for us, but we know our strength, we know the players we have here and we still believe,' our Brazil international explained.

'We showed our power in the Club World Cup final [against PSG] – we won that game 3-0, and now we have to score three goals again.

'The group believes, the coach believes, and I think the fans should believe as well because tomorrow is going to be a great game to watch.’

The 24-year-old knows Champions League nights at Stamford Bridge are special, and admits playing on the European stage was a big factor in his decision to join the club last summer from Brighton and Hove Albion.

‘To play in the Champions League is a dream of every player,' explained Joao Pedro. 'I have enjoyed being here at Chelsea a lot. I’m happy here.

'Against PSG, we have another opportunity to show everyone our power. Hopefully, we can win the game.’
