The Famous CFC made its second stop of the season on its global fan engagement tour this week, dropping into Los Angeles, USA, for a host of fan, Foundation, and partner activities.

Chelsea legend Joe Cole joined 300 diehard Chelsea fans in downtown LA on the rooftop of the Grammy Museum to see out the Blues’ season against Newcastle. The event, during which fans enjoyed competition giveaways, a freestyle competition, an official Chelsea pop-up store and a Stamford Bridge photo experience, kicked off a week of events on the US West Coast.

Speaking of his experience in California, Cole said: 'It's always great to come out to the US. I know our fans here well now after playing here with Tampa, and coming on our pre-season tour back in July, they really love their football. People outside the US don't appreciate how massive the game is becoming here, it's brilliant that Chelsea are leading that by doing these kinds of events.'

Chelsea were back in LA for the first time since July 2022, when the club visited on its summer pre-season tour, and filled a jam-packed Memorial Day weekend with a girls football tournament hosted by the Chelsea Foundation, and a collaboration with Venice Beach FC’s youth teams on the pick-up courts of Venice Beach.

Our former attacker paid a visit to Universal Studios, with Joe getting a VIP tour, and subsequent visits to games with the LA Galaxy and LA Dodgers brought the Pride of London to the LA sports arena.

Chelsea will return to the US this summer for our pre-season tour, with fixtures against Wrexham, Brighton, Newcastle, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund scheduled. For full details and to buy tickets to see the Blues in action, click here.
