The dynamic winger joined the Blues from BK Hacken in her native Sweden on this day in 2022 and has since delighted our fans with a series of important contributions to our success. Here we look at five of her standout moments...

Rytting Kaneryd has already racked up 100 appearances for Chelsea, with the landmark coming in our memorable victory over Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final second leg, and she signed a new deal with us a few months later to ensure she will remain a blue until the summer of 2027.

Here, we recount five of her best Chelsea moments.

Chelsea 3-1 Brighton | 8 March 2023 | Women's Super League

Rytting Kaneryd's first goal came in a crucial league clash against Brighton at Kingsmeadow. After a Guro Reiten penalty and a goal from Jess Carter had put us 2-0 up, our Swedish star tapped into an empty net after Sam Kerr had squared the ball across the penalty area.

Brighton got themselves a consolation before the 90 minutes were up but Jojo's goal helped the Blues to a win that saw us move within one point of the top of the table.

Chelsea 3-1 West Ham | 14 January 2024 | Women's FA Cup

Chelsea needed extra time to defeat West Ham in the FA Cup fourth round in early 2024. After the Hammers had gone ahead early in the match, Rytting Kaneryd headed the ball down inside the box for Mia Fishel's 70th-minute equaliser, leaving the scores level after 90 minutes.

As the two sides battled it out in the additional period, Ryting Kaneryd was on hand again, floating in a cross from the right-hand side, and Erin Cuthbert was there to head home to put the Blues 2-1 up with 101 minutes gone.

Aggie Beever-Jones put the tie beyond doubt with our third goal just before the first half of extra time ended, and we progressed through to a fifth-round tie against Crystal Palace.

Manchester United 0-6 Chelsea | 18 May 2024 | Women's Super League

We clinched the league title on the final day of a memorable campaign with a 6-0 win over Man Utd at Old Trafford, in what was Emma Hayes' last game in charge of the club.

Rytting Kaneryd netted in the eighth minute, doubling the score after Mayra Ramirez had already headed in the opener.

Her electric pace saw the winger chase down a loose ball in the midfield, charging down the right-wing and slotting past Mary Earps when she had found herself in a one-on-one situation with the former England goalkeeper.

Four more goals were added before we lifted the league trophy in front of our fans.

Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea | 20 September 2024 | Women's Super League

Sonia Bompastor's first game in charge at Chelsea began with a win, and it was Rytting Kaneryd who supplied the only goal of the game.

Her strike was full of quality as she received the ball on the edge of the box, creating space from the onrushing defenders with her right foot, before swapping to her left and curling a brilliant effort into the back of the net.

Earning the three points in that opening match set a crucial marker as Bompastor went unbeaten in domestic action during the 2024/25 campaign.

Chelsea 5-2 Tottenham | 20 October 2024 | Women's Super League

Chelsea fans voted Rytting Kaneryd's superb volley in this 5-2 win over Tottenham as our Goal of the Season for 2024/25.

Her fantastic strike put us 3-1 up, before adding our fifth in the stoppage time to seal the rout.

This was a dramatic night of action at Kingsmeadow, and our number 19 ensured that we took the win and stayed on course not only for the WSL title, but to remain unbeaten throughout that entire campaign.
