Chelsea can confirm defender Jorja Fox has today completed a permanent move to Ipswich Town.

Fox joined the Chelsea Academy at the age of eight and made her senior debut for the Blues in a 4-0 away victory against Aston Villa in the 2020/21 campaign. Later that season, she made her first start in a 5-0 win over London City Lionesses.

Her first professional contract with the club came in August 2021, on the day she turned 18.

Loans to Charlton Athletic, Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace followed as she gained experience at senior level. Fox signed a contract extension with Chelsea in August 2024 and last season joined Newcastle United on a further loan.

On the international stage, Fox represented England at every youth level during her time with the Blues.

Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Jorja every success in her future career.
