Keira Walsh's superb strike to help the Blues defeat Tottenham Hotspur has been voted the Constant Contact Chelsea Women's Goal of the Month for October.
Walsh, who joined the Blues in January from Barcelona, opened her Chelsea account in style and ensured we overcame our north London rivals at Kingsmeadow.
Given time and space on the edge of the penalty area, the England international drove the ball across goal and into the far corner to ensure we claimed victory.
That finish was the clear winner of our Constant Contact Women’s Goal of the Month poll on the Chelsea Official App, claiming 48 per cent of the voting.
Wieke Kaptein's strike against Manchester United, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd's header against Paris FC, and Alyssa Thompson's first goal for the Blues, also against Paris, all finished in the runners-up spot, with each receiving 15 per cent of the votes.
You can rewatch the winning goal above.
Congratulations, Keira!
