It was a happy day for the Blues midfielder as she netted one of her trademark goals from range on her 50th outing for Chelsea and also passed the 100-appearance marker in the Women's Super League.

The England international moved to Chelsea from Barcelona at the end of January 2025 and made her Blues debut two days later in a 1-0 win away at Aston Villa.

Walsh soon became a regular in our starting XI and helped us to a domestic Treble at the end of her first campaign in Blue. The midfield playmaker has now scored four goals for the Blues during her half-century of appearances

'Playing that many games for such a good club is obviously an amazing feeling,' said Walsh upon reaching the milestone. 'Winning the league was a highlight for me because it's not an easy league to win, and that's what I came here to do.

'The Chelsea fans have really welcomed me from when I first came and always supported the way that I've played. I want to keep playing good football, enjoying it, and hopefully reach 100 in blue.'

In addition to her 50 Chelsea appearances, Walsh has amassed 103 senior England caps, winning the Women's European Championship in 2022 and 2025 and reaching the Women's World Cup final in 2023.
