Blues midfielder Keira Walsh will receive an MBE for her services to sport following her contribution to England's victory at the Women's European Championship in 2025.
The 28-year-old has been named in the New Year Honours list alongside fellow Lionesses Alex Greenwood, Georgia Stanway and Ella Toone after the quartet won back-to-back European titles in 2022 and 2025.
Having earned 97 total for England, Walsh has become a key member of Sarina Wiegman's side and was instrumental in both of the Lionesses' triumphs.
The experienced midfielder joined Chelsea last January from Barcelona and won a domestic Treble in her first season with the Blues.
Walsh is a champion of women's football and has spoken to us about her role in raising its visibility for the younger generation.
Congratulations, Keira!
