It was a third clean sheet on the bounce for Kepa Arrizabalaga in our goalless draw with Fulham on Friday night and he assessed both the side’s and his performance after the match.

The Blues have kept clean sheets in three of our four home matches since the season restart after Christmas, with Kepa starring in all of those.

It was a hard-fought draw with Marco Silva’s side on Friday, although our goalkeeper explained why he wasn’t pleased with just the one point.

‘We wanted to win and we were playing in front of our fans. We are building and getting to know each other. It was not an easy game, but a lot of new players is not an excuse, we have to win. We need wins because we are midtable, we want to be at the top.

‘Personally, I am feeling good and happy, with a lot of confidence. At least if we keep a clean sheet it is a point. Every player is running a lot and covering spaces and pressing, so it is the work of 11 players, not just me.

‘It's a big game against West Ham next week. We have all of the week to prepare for it and we'll go there for a win, for the three points because we need it.’

The Spaniard was also full of praise for two new January additions, Benoit Badiashile and Enzo Fernandez, who both featured against Fulham, the latter for his debut.

‘Enzo arrived yesterday, had one training session and then played 90 minutes. I think everyone saw his quality and how well he played. He is a big player for us, and hopefully he can help us a lot,’ Kepa said on the Argentinian.

‘Benoit is a really good guy, very calm and has big quality with the ball. He’s also strong in the air, he's having a great impact on the team and hopefully we can keep doing this.’
