With our Premier League schedule now confirmed, we have picked out some of Chelsea’s important dates in 2026/27 to add to your calendar, from pre-season to cup finals.

We have not picked out every fixture, instead selecting some of the fans' standout matches and highlighting other dates of note.

As always, it is important to note the date of matchday fixtures are always subject to change, with many of the bigger games moved because of television broadcast.

Sunday 19 July - The World Cup final in New Jersey brings an end to the tournament.

Tuesday 28 July – Chelsea's first pre-season friendly sees us take on Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia.

Sunday 9 August - The Blues' pre-season tour of Australia and Asia comes to an end with a fixture against Johor Darul Ta'zim in Malaysia.


Monday 24 August
– Chelsea travel to Fulham for our first Premier League fixture of 2026/27.

Wednesday 26 August - Our involvement in the Carabao Cup begins at the second round stage between our opening two fixtures of the season.

Saturday 29 August – Our first home clash of the season sees Brighton and Hove Albion visit Stamford Bridge.

Tuesday 1 September - The Premier League transfer window closes.

Saturday 5 September - It's a trip to the Emirates to play Arsenal in our third league fixture of the campaign.

21 September - 6 October - In a change to recent years, a longer, solitary international window spans September and October, with countries playing up to four matches in it.

Saturday 24 October - We host Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.

9-17 November - The traditional two-game international window returns for the last break from club football in 2026.


19-30 December
– The festive season is one of the highlights of the football calendar in England and after hosting Aston Villa at the Bridge (19 December) we travel to the Midlands to play Frank Lampard's Coventry City on Boxing Day. We then face another newly-promoted side on the road, Ipswich Town (30 December).

Saturday 2 January – We kick off the new year in SW6, hosting Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.

Saturday 9 January – Chelsea and the rest of the Premier League teams begin their FA Cup campaign in the third round.

Saturday 13 March - We welcome Arsenal to Stamford Bridge.

Sunday 21 March – The first of 2026/27’s silverware will be up for grabs in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium.


22-30 March
- The final international window of the season takes place.

Saturday 8 May - It's a late-season trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a week after playing at Anfield.

Saturday 22 May – The FA Cup final is scheduled for the penultimate weekend of the domestic season.

Sunday 30 May - Chelsea's league campaign comes to an end with a game against Brentford at Stamford Bridge.
