Chelsea vs Brentford head-to-head

Chelsea are looking to extend our unbeaten run in all competitions away at Brentford to nine matches (four wins, four draws) since our last defeat there in October 1938 in the old First Division.

Brentford have not secured a victory in their last five home league fixtures against Chelsea, recording three draws and two defeats since their 1-0 win in October 1938. All three of their Premier League wins against the Blues have been at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea stats

Chelsea are one of three teams still unbeaten in the Premier League this season (along with Crystal Palace and Liverpool).

The Blues are on a run of 16 wins from our past 19 matches across all competitions (one draw, two defeats). In the Premier League, we have won seven of our last nine games (one draw, one defeat).

Chelsea are hoping to win three consecutive Premier League away games for the first time since winning three in a row against Leicester, Southampton and Spurs in November and December last year.

This is our fourth London derby in four Premier League matches this season, making us just the second side in Football League history to start a league campaign with four consecutive London derbies, after Crystal Palace in 2021/22. Having won our last two, the Blues could win three successive league derbies for the first time since February 2024 (run of four).

Chelsea kept four clean sheets in our first 26 Premier League games under Enzo Maresca but have since kept nine in our last 15, conceding only eight goals. Since the start of that run (25 February), the Blues have the most clean sheets in the top flight.

Under Maresca, Chelsea have picked up more points in Premier League London derbies since the start of last season than any other side (29 – eight wins, five draws, two defeats).

Chelsea have won seven of our last eight Premier League games kicking off at 8pm or later since the start of last season, winning each of the last four.

Joao Pedro is the fourth player to score five goals in his first five starts across all competitions for Chelsea (Diego Costa and Tammy Abraham seven, Alvaro Morata five).

Enzo Fernandez has been involved in 14 goals in his last 18 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea (five goals, nine assists).

Moises Caicedo won possession more times (11) and made more interceptions (five) than any other Premier League player on matchday three, while Tosin Adarabioyo won more aerial duels than any other Premier League player.

Despite only playing 181 minutes in the Premier League this season, only one player has made more dribbles than Estevao Willian (18). His nine against Fulham made him the youngest player on record (since 2006/07) with that many in a game for the Blues (18 years, 128 days), and the youngest of any player since a 17-year-old Raheem Sterling for Liverpool vs Stoke in October 2012.

Since our goalless draw at Brentford in April, the Bees have won three and lost one of their subsequent four home Premier League matches, scoring 11 goals in the process.

After losing two of their final 10 league games last season, Brentford have lost two of their first three in 2025/26.

The Bees won one of their six home London derbies last season (Crystal Palace). They drew against Chelsea and West Ham and lost to Arsenal, Fulham and Spurs.

The Bees have lost five of their last seven Premier League games kicking off at 8pm or later (one win, one draw), although they did win their most recent such game, beating Leicester 4-0 in February.
