Chelsea stats
Chelsea drew goalless with Crystal Palace in our first home Premier League match of 2025/26 and failed to win our opening two home games last season, but haven’t done so in consecutive seasons since 2001/02 and 2002/03. Only three times previously have the Blues failed to score in our opening two home league games in a campaign: in 1955/56, 1978/79 and 1986/87.
For a second consecutive season, Chelsea failed to score in our opening Premier League match then hit five goals in our second game (6-2 against Wolverhampton Wanderers last season, 5-1 against West Ham United this season), which was something that had happened just four times to other teams in Premier League history beforehand.
Estevao Willian became the youngest player to ever assist a Premier League goal for Chelsea in our 5-1 win over West Ham, aged 18 years and 120 days, and on his first start in the competition. The only players to assist in their first two starts aged 18 or younger are Francis Jeffers in 1999 (18 years, 23 days) and Evan Ferguson in 2023 (18 years, 87 days).
Joao Pedro has been involved in six goals in his last four games in all competitions for Chelsea (four goals, two assists), with four goals in four starts for the Blues. In the Premier League era since 1992/93, only three players have scored five or more goals in their first five starts in all competitions for Chelsea – Diego Costa in 2014 (seven), Alvaro Morata in 2017 (five) and Tammy Abraham in 2019 (seven).
Under Enzo Maresca, Chelsea have picked up more points in Premier League London derbies since the start of last season than any other side. We have 26 points from 14 derbies, winning seven and drawing five.

Fulham have won four of their last eight away Premier League London derbies (drawn two, lost two), as many as in their previous 68 combined (won four, drawn 21, lost 43). Having beaten Brentford 3-2 in May, they are looking for consecutive away London victories for just a second time, beating Charlton Athletic and Tottenham Hotspur in May and August 2003.
Fulham have drawn both of their Premier League matches so far this season. They last drew their opening three league games in 2017/18 in the Championship. While in the top-flight they’ve only done so once (2010/11).
Rodrigo Muniz – who notched a late winner at Stamford Bridge last season for the Cottagers – has scored six goals in his last 10 away Premier League appearances, averaging a goal every 45 minutes across those games. His equaliser at Brighton & Hove Albion on matchday one took him to six away goals as a substitute for them, overtaking Collins John (five) for the most.
Both Raul Jimenez and Sander Berge could hit Premier League milestones in this game. Jimenez could be the first Mexican player to make 200 appearances in the competition, while Berge is one game away from his 100th. The last time two players hit those individual milestones in the same game for a club was August 2023, when Alexis Mac Allister (100) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (200) did so for Liverpool.
Since the start of last season, Fulham have had 19 Premier League goals scored by substitutes, more than any other side.
Fulham have lost each of their last four Premier League games kicking off at 12.30pm on a Saturday without scoring a single goal.
