Sonia Bompastor and Lucy Bronze faced the media at Cobham this afternoon ahead of our Women's Champions League qualifier clash against Real Sociedad on Wednesday night.

On Real Sociedad
Sonia Bompastor: It will be a strong test. Real Sociedad finished third in the Liga F. They are a Spanish team, so they have a really strong philosophy in possession, but they have a lot of quality out of possession as well.
We know everything about them now, and we prepared for the game well. But the game tomorrow will also be about us, and I'm confident with the quality we have shown during pre-season.
Lucy Bronze: I remember playing against Real Sociedad in Liga F when I was at Barcelona, and they were always a good team. They always played good football. We had good results against them, but I always remember them being a really good team, something that me and Keira (Walsh) both spoke about recently.
I actually watched the game last year when they were playing against Barca. They defended really well, which isn't the easiest thing to do against Barca when they were continually attacking.
On a fresh start this season
SB: Pre-season has been really good. We have worked really hard with a lot of intensity in training sessions. We travelled all over the world, and it was a really good opportunity for the squad to be together and for us to get to know each other better.
Since we came back, we also recovered really well from the travel, but we got back to business, and I think we are in a really good place for the game tomorrow.
LB: We've got a lot of young, talented players at Chelsea, a lot of eager players who are keen to learn and to listen. Sometimes they get things wrong, but they try really hard, and it's exciting to be part of the club and to see so many players grow, develop and improve every day.
I think that's the exciting part of this team this year: the youth and the exuberance we will have on the pitch.
On preparing for a qualifier
LB: I think it's fun. We like playing against teams from different countries. The league phase last year was different, and I guess this is just another difference, but we're very much focused on this game.
We know it's very important for us to win tomorrow, especially playing at home. We don't take anything for granted. We know what a good team they are.
I think having more games this year is exciting for us as Chelsea, and being in a different position just allows you to adapt and learn new things about the team.
On 'unstoppable' Lauren James
LB: People forget how much spotlight was put on her from a very young age. But I think in the team at Chelsea, you can see she feels comfortable. She's grown as a player. She's grown as a person.
You can see that she's grown so many connections with all of the team. We all know that when LJ is flowing, there's nobody in the world that can stop her. So it's nice to see that she's growing a lot.
SB: As a coach, I'm someone who really cares about the players, but as a human, I also care about the humans and the person. So I think in this environment, I always try my best to encourage the players to be themselves and to express themselves. It's okay for us to be vulnerable sometimes.
We spend so much time together, so I'm happy with what Lucy said in terms of allowing people to be themselves, in terms of vulnerability, but also when they are showing confidence, it's something good.
On a 'bigger and better Chelsea'
LB: Pre-season has gone so well. The new signings are fitting in really well too. It just feels like we're on a fresh start. We have kind of put a line in the sand from last season, and moving forward to be even bigger and better than Chelsea's ever been.
