On the prospect of another London derby...

'It's two great teams going against each other. So when you are passionate about football, as a head coach and a player, you want to be involved in those games.

'We are really excited for the game on Sunday. We are playing at home, at Stamford Bridge. We are hoping for our fans to come and support us and hopefully we'll put on a strong performance to have a great afternoon.'

On Alyssa Thompson's importance in big games...

'I think it's important to have players who are able to beat their opponent, especially when you play against a team who are man-marking.

'Alyssa has the technicality and the speed to always beat her opponent one-v-one no matter the situation, whether she's facing forward or whether she's receiving the ball to feet and going beyond the back line. She's a player who loves to play with freedom because she has a lot of instinct and it's great to have a player like her.

'She can make a lot of difference on the pitch, so that's really important as well, especially when you play in big games.'

On what might be the difference-maker against Arsenal...

'I think fine margins will decide the game for sure and the details are really important. Both teams will have to be really strong in the defensive aspects not to concede, but also to create and be clinical to score the opportunities we make in the game.

'It's a massive fixture not only for the club and the players, but also for the fans. We want to play from the first minute until the end of the game and we will give our all to make sure we bring the fans along with us. The best way is to score and to embrace the game. So we'll try to do that.'

On the positives that came out of the Austria Vienna win...

'I think that was the first time in the season where we faced a team with a direct style of football. The only thing they wanted to do is to play long balls behind the back line, then fight for the first and the second ball.

'So it was good for us to be in that position. And even against a team who played direct, I don't think we conceded many opportunities. I think we were strong in the duels and also we dealt well with the transitions.

'But also we faced a team who were man-marking everywhere on the pitch. We spoke a lot about finding solutions when you play a team who are doing that in terms of the spaces and the different movements you need to create the space.

'It was really positive to be going into these next two games having faced a team who were causing us some challenges. So it's good to approach Sunday's game having had this one in the bag.'

On our playing style...

'I think for me, the most important thing – as I told my players – it's not always about the system, but instead it's about the way we animate the system.

'But we don't change our main principles and our philosophy no matter what system we are playing. So for me, I have players smart enough to know and to recognise the positions they need to play and what they need to do in every position they are playing in, and they are adaptable with that, so it's good.'
