Chelsea Football Club is pleased to announce that Cobham Next Gen’s Kobe Barbour has signed a new contract, keeping him at the club until at least June 2030.
Since joining the Blues as an Under-8, Barbour has steadily progressed through the youth ranks. He was also part of the sides which won the Under-16 Premier League and Under-17 Premier League Cup in 2024.
The attacking midfielder, who can play both centrally and out wide, scored five goals and provided two assists in 2025/26 for the Under-18s.
He made five league appearances for CNG in the same campaign and marked his UEFA Youth League debut with a goal in our 5-2 victory over Benfica.
