Following the sad passing of our former player and manager Gianluca Vialli, Chelsea Football Club is inviting fans to pay their own respects to a true legend.

A special area for laying floral tributes will be open daily near the Britannia Entrance at Stamford Bridge, from 7am to 10pm (9am to 10pm on Sunday).

On Tuesday, a book of condolence will open for written tributes. It will be at the Museum and Stadium Tours building behind the Matthew Harding Stand where there will be a display remembering Luca’s career at Chelsea.

For those unable to visit the Bridge who wish to leave messages, we will be opening an online version of the book of condolence.

There will be further tributes at our next home game, versus Crystal Palace on Sunday 15 January. Further details will follow.

There will also be a minute’s applause and the players will wear black armbands and special warm-up t-shirts at Sunday’s FA Cup match at Manchester City.
