Liam Rosenior has confirmed that Reece James should be fit to face Leeds United tomorrow, despite feeling unwell this week, while Andrey Santos and Cole Palmer are both fine to feature.

Chelsea host Leeds United at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening, with both sides coming into this fixture off the back of impressive 3-1 Premier League victories last time out. The Blues saw off Wolves at Molineux, thanks to a Cole Palmer hat-trick, while our opponents defeated Nottingham Forest.

Rosenior faced the media at Cobham on Monday afternoon and delivered the latest on the team news front ahead of meeting Daniel Farke’s side, with our head coach updating on James, Palmer, Andrey Santos, Tosin Adarabioyo and Romeo Lavia.

‘Reece is fit, he's okay,’ Rosenior confirmed at his media briefing.

‘A small issue is that he is feeling unwell today. It's no conspiracy, it's the truth. Hopefully he's well enough to be involved [against Leeds].

‘Elsewhere, Cole is available for tomorrow. Andrey Santos trained today, he’s a soldier and he’s absolutely fine. He had a swollen ankle [against Wolves], it wasn’t a great tackle on him but he’s fine for tomorrow.

‘Tosin is looking good, he trained today and it’s great to have him in and around the group. Romeo, we have a really detailed plan for him and he has been on the training pitch with us in the last two days which has been great to see.

‘As I’ve said before, he’s such a great player but what we have to do is make sure that when he’s back, he’s back for good.

‘We are just making sure he gets the right plan over the next ten days, two weeks to achieve that.’

We return to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening for our clash against Leeds. With general admission tickets sold out, Club Chelsea is your only way to watch the action live. Seat-only tickets start from £210 per person (inc. VAT) – book now by clicking here!
