Liam Rosenior has confirmed that he has no fresh injury concerns to contend with ahead of Sunday’s visit of Manchester City but also stated that the game comes too soon for Trevoh Chalobah, Levi Colwill and Reece James.

The Blues welcome Pep Guardiola’s side to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon off the back of a convincing 7-0 victory over Port Vale, which secured our place in the FA Cup semi-finals.

Rosenior hopes the team can use that win to reignite our Premier League form, and a first victory over City in five years following that famous Champions League night in Porto.

Our head coach said that Estevao Willian is fit to feature after coming through 90 minutes and landing the Player of the Match award in our win over the Valiants, and also confirmed Enzo Fernandez will miss this game as expected.

‘There are no new updates, but the positive is Estevao having 90 against Port Vale,’ Rosenior told the media at his pre-match press conference.

‘Otherwise it’s the same really. Trevoh (Chalobah) is working really hard and is back on the pitch. Levi (Colwill) is training but still has some hurdles to overcome first, and Reece (James) has been running today. None of them will be ready for Man City but they are working well.

‘We have a good squad and they look really, really good. I know it was a game we were expected to win, but the way we went about things against Port Vale was very good and hopefully that springboards the rest of our run-in.’
