Liam Rosenior has delivered updates on the fitness of Estevao Willian and Enzo Fernandez after both were forced off during our frustrating 1-0 defeat to Manchester United this evening.

Estevao started tonight's Premier League clash but, having almost broken the deadlock with a shot that shaved the post, the 18-year-old Brazilian was forced off in the 16th minute of the game.

Fernandez, meanwhile, played 88 minutes on his return to the side following a two-game absence. Unfortunately, the Argentine midfielder was unable to complete the contest and was replaced late on by Romeo Lavia.

When asked about Estevao's fitness in his post-match press conference, Rosenior said: ‘He was crying at half time; it was really devastating for him.

'It looks like it's his hamstring and that has happened in a moment when he's running through on their goal for a one-v-one chance – he pulls his hamstring in that moment. I hope Este comes back sooner rather than later.'

On Fernandez, our head coach added: I just saw him in the dressing room – I think it was his calf.

'I’m hoping it's cramp; he’s getting work on it right now because we want him, obviously, fit for Tuesday [against Brighton and Hove Albion].

'He ran himself into the ground for the club tonight and I expect nothing different from a man of his stature and quality.'
