Liam Rosenior has praised the 'fantastic impression' Trevoh Chalobah has made upon him and his staff during their first month at Chelsea.

Rosenior was appointed on January 6 and has overseen an intense run of fixtures, with the Blues in action eight times across four different competitions.

Chalobah has featured in six of those games and showcased his versatility and dependability by being deployed on either side of our centre-back pairing. His total of 33 appearances this term is also only bettered by Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto.

Yet it is also off the pitch that the Blues Academy graduate has impressed Rosenior and his staff, with Chalobah's mentality and understanding of the club highlighted.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of our Premier League trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers, Rosenior explained: 'Trevoh has been one of our brightest spots in terms of his performances and in terms of what he understands, what we want, not just on the pitch and tactically, but in terms of the culture and what he gives the group.

'He loves this club. He understands what it takes to win and he's made a fantastic impression on my staff and me so far.'
