Liam Rosenior says Reece James and Pedro Neto will be assessed ahead of our trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but confirmed Cole Palmer and Estevao Willian are both fit to feature.
The Blues head to Molineux on Saturday and will look to return to winning ways after our narrow defeat to Arsenal in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
Although Wolves sit bottom of the Premier League table after 24 matches, Rosenior expects a difficult challenge against Rob Edwards's side and is pleased that Palmer and Estevao are both fit to play the full 90 minutes in the Midlands.
Our head coach also delivered updates in his pre-match press conference on James and former Wolves man Neto, and explained Jamie Gittens is set for a period on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
‘Yes, they [Palmer and Estevao] are both fit to play 90 minutes,’ Rosenior told the media at Cobham.
‘We don’t know yet [on James and Neto]. We had training today, which was a recovery day for the lads who played in a really tough, physical game on Tuesday. We will check them tomorrow and make a decision then.
'Jamie is looking a little bit more long-term. It's a real shame for him; he's got a tear in his hamstring.
'That’s a real shame for him as, obviously, I’ve not worked with him for too long, but I know about his career and what an outstanding player he is. So that’s going to be a big miss for us.’
