In a new series, the Blues players provide unique insight into what they and their team-mates are really like behind the scenes at Cobham and Stamford Bridge. We begin with Marc Cucurella answering the quick-fire questions...

Who is the first player out on the pitch for training?

'Maybe Reece James, he’s the captain.'

Who do you eat lunch with at Cobham?

'Normally I have lunch with Pedro [Neto], Filip [Jorgensen], sometimes Robert [Sanchez], Andrey [Santos], all of the people who can speak Spanish.'

What is the first thing you do when you get home after training to switch off?

'Normally, if I arrive on time, I go and pick up my kids from school and we will spend our afternoon together.'

Who do you sit with when you travel for away games?

'Normally, I sit with Enzo [Fernandez] because we share some moments and we have a good relationship, so we love to spend time together.'

Who is the biggest joker in the squad?

'That’s difficult, probably me! Why? I don’t know. Because I love to joke and bring good vibes to the team since we spend a lot of time together. So, I think it is a good idea.'

Who is the loudest member of the squad?

'Probably Tosin [Adarabioyo]. In training, he’s the referee; he loves to speak. He’s the man who always has something to say. Just in training, he’s the referee, he puts his own rules, he decides everything!'

Which Chelsea player is most active on social media that we should follow?

'I want to say maybe Romeo Lavia. I think he always has good interactions with other players, like he loves to comment and to post something from another player if it’s good. He has good ideas and pictures.'

Who do you sit with on matchdays?

'Normally, we always have the same table. I sit at the end of the table, and I have Robert on one side and the other side now I have Estevao [Willian]. We follow this. Then, in the meeting room, I now have on my side Andrey Santos.'

What is the last thing you do before you walk out the tunnel for a match?

'I try to always put the right shin pad on first and then the left, then I try to always think ahead to the game and what I can expect and concentrate.'

Who is the first person you send a message to after a game?

'Probably my wife because we like to comment and normally always if they're in the stadium I’m asking how the game was and how the kids were during the game.'

Which outfield player do you think would make the best goalkeeper?

'Probably I would choose myself, but if not, I maybe choose Tosin because he’s very tall and loud, so he can make good saves.'

Which defender or midfielder would be the best striker?

'Maybe Enzo Fernandez. I think he scores a lot of goals and has a striker’s instinct.'

What is one thing that has surprised you about Chelsea?

'I think the magnitude of the club. You know that Chelsea is a big club, but when you are inside, you realise the people who follow Chelsea are everywhere around the world. I think it’s one of the best things.'
