With live episodes broadcast three times a week and plenty of new drills, Coaches Corner Live is the perfect way to aid your football training and physical activity during the Easter break...
Throughout lockdown, Chelsea FC have been filling your weekend training gaps with a series of weekly live coaching sessions to help young players stay active and maintain their training from home.
While the resumption of grassroots sport this week has been most welcome, the Easter break means many young people will be without in-school activities for the next fortnight so we're ramping up our Facebook Live sessions to three a week until 18 April.
Led by Chelsea Academy and Foundation coach Andrew Ottley, the next session focuses on passing and honing skills to beat your opponent.
The best part is that all you need to get involved is a pair of boots, a ball and some markers, although these can be replicated with any safe household objects such as shoes, jumpers or plastic water bottles.
This weekend's session will be broadcast live on our official Facebook channel at 11am this Sunday 4 April. There will also be live episodes broadcast on Tuesday 6 and Thursday 8 April from 10am.
After each session, players can continue their development during the week using Perfect Play, the world’s number one football training app, developed with and used by the Chelsea Academy. The app’s technical and physical training drills have been taken directly from the club’s youth development programme.
