Chelsea FC Women has a home in the heart of KT1, yet many local residents and communities will never set foot inside the stadium on a matchday. The My First Game initiative is designed to change that.
Derived from the similar scheme at Stamford Bridge, the extension of this initiative to Kingsmeadow aims to offer local residents the opportunity to attend a Chelsea Women game for the first time.
For every game played at Kingsmeadow by our women’s team, the club will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that local residents and community members are able to watch it. Tickets are available for one adult and one child to come together to watch one game during the season.
Ethan Windsor, residents relations officer for Chelsea FC, said:
'We are delighted to bring the My First Game scheme to Kingsmeadow, which will see local residents have the opportunity to watch our incredible women's team for the first time.
‘This is the natural next step in the development of the scheme following the success of My First Game at Stamford Bridge over recent seasons. We hope that this initiative will help to inspire the next generation of Chelsea fans.'
To qualify for the tickets, the recipients must either live or attend school within a one-mile radius of Kingsmeadow Stadium. To apply, residents are required to complete this form with their name and address and proof of that address. Providing they do not have a prior ticket purchase history with us, we will allocate tickets for an upcoming home match.
Once allocated, on the matchday, the residents will need to show proof of address to collect their tickets. They will only be able to attend one match via the My First Game initiative.
Chelsea FC’s Conditions of Issue, which can be found here, apply to all match tickets.
