Chelsea is delighted to confirm that Academy striker Lois Shooter has signed her first professional contract with the club until the summer of 2028, with the option of a further year, and will spend next season on loan at WSL 2 side Nottingham Forest.
Having previously been part of the London City Lionesses’ youth system, Shooter joined the Chelsea Academy at the age of 15.
Shooter said: ‘I am really proud to be signing my first professional contract with Chelsea. It is a special moment for my family and me. I’m grateful to everyone who has helped me get to where I am in my journey. I am excited to continue my development and see how far it takes me.’
The 18-year-old is an England youth international, most recently attending a Women’s Under-20 camp.
Shooter scored 12 goals for our Under-18 side in the WSL Academy League during the 2025/26 campaign.
She also travelled with the first team to our pre-season training camp in the Netherlands ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, and was named in the matchday squad on a number of occasions during the season.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to congratulate Lois on signing her first professional contract, and we wish her every success during her spell at Nottingham Forest.
