Chelsea forward Louna Ribadeira will spend a further season on loan at FC Fleury 91 in the French top-flight in 2026/27.

The 21-year-old forward joined the Blues on a four-year deal in the summer of 2024 from Paris FC, where she had already amassed 60 senior club appearances and picked up the Division 1 Feminine Young Player of the Year award.

Loans to Paris FC and Everton in the Women’s Super League followed, and at the beginning of the 2025/26 campaign, the France-born player moved on loan to FC Fleury to support her return to football following a prolonged period out with injury.

Working hard on her rehabilitation throughout the campaign, Ribadeira returned to the pitch in April 2026 in a Premiere Ligue match against Strasbourg, and she weighed in immediately with a goal in a 3-1 home win.

Having now made her comeback from injury, the forward will return to Fleury for a second year on loan, to further build her minutes in a first-team environment.

Everyone at Chelsea wishes Louna every success in Fleury-Merogis, and we look forward to watching her progress.
