Stamford Bridge will host a blockbuster at the end of this month when Chelsea Women go up against the Gunners, and there are plenty of opportunities for Blues fans to play your part.

The game between the two most successful clubs in the WSL era, the biggest London derby in women’s football, takes place at 4.30pm on Sunday 27 September, during the break for international fixtures for the men’s team.

We are declaring it a Blue Day and to celebrate the occasion and show your support for the team, those at the Bridge can:

  • Head to the Fan Zone at the Tea Bar for blue face painting, fun activities and live music.

  • Pick up your Blue Day collectable patch to remember the afternoon by.

  • If you are in the West Lower, join in making a mosaic by raising a card placed on your seat above your head as the teams walk out ahead of kick-off. Instructions will be outlined on the cards, and please do not swap cards with those around you.

  • Look out for blue activities around the ground. Remember to bring your scarf and make sure to wave the flag on your seat to turn the Bridge into a sea of blue.

  • Be in the stadium early for our full Blue Day-themed countdown to kick-off, featuring your favourite Blues anthems, our 'How blue are you?' crowd cam, and lots more to get the atmosphere rocking as we build up to the big match.

  • Wear as much blue as possible. Our online store is a great place to start to make that happen.

In the words of the famous Chelsea anthem, ‘We're gonna make this a Blue Day’, so please join in the fun and we’ll see you at the Bridge for the derby!
