Chelsea return to Manchester for the second time in two weeks as we face Andree Jeglertz's side in a crucial Women's Super League fixture on Sunday.
Having progressed to the Women's League Cup final with a determined 1-0 win over the Cityzens last week, we now travel to the Etihad Stadium to face City again in a bid to cut the gap at the top of the table.
Our defeat to Arsenal – combined with Man City's win against London City Lionesses – saw the Northern side extend their lead at the top of the WSL table to nine points last weekend, but a victory on Sunday would see us move within six points of our rivals with six matches left to play.

Recent head-to-head
Chelsea have won six of the last seven meetings with Man City since the start of of the 2024/25 campaign, only losing 2-0 in the first leg of the Women's Champions League quarter-final last season. That result was overturned by our 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge, which saw us progress to the next round of the competition.
We also kicked off our campaign this season with a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge thanks to goals from Aggie Beever-Jones and Maika Hamano, before last week's 1-0 victory at the Joie Stadium.
