One of the selection dilemmas facing Enzo Maresca ahead of this weekend’s big game against Arsenal is who should lead the Chelsea attack.

Happily, Maresca has an abundance of options for that role right now. Pedro Neto fulfilled the job to great effect against Barcelona, while Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Marc Guiu and Tyrique George have also played as our number nine this season.

With Cole Palmer fit again and Estevao Willian in such good form, balancing the make-up of our attack is a difficult but welcome challenge for Maresca.

‘We used Pedro [Neto] as a nine last year, we used Pedro as a nine the last game, and we also used Pedro as a nine for a period two games ago, against Wolves,’ pointed out Maresca.

‘He’s a different option. We have Liam, we have Joao Pedro, we have Marc Guiu, we have Pedro when we need him. In some games even Ty has played as a nine.

‘I’m not saying who is going to play as a nine on Sunday - but I know!’

We await Maresca’s decision with interest.
