Mason Mount believed Jorginho’s goal just after half-time settled the Blues down against Brighton and helped us go on and secure a deserved three points at Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder put in another fantastic display in our 2-0 victory, with Willian adding to Jorginho’s opener in what was a dominant Chelsea performance.
‘It’s a massive win for us,’ explained Mason.
‘We have been speaking about getting this first win at home for a while now and today we knew it was important to start strong.
‘We had, I think, 17 shots in the first half and didn’t score and sometimes it’s hard to keep going when you’re dominating so much but not managing to score. But we kept going, got that goal just after half-time and that settled us down really.
