Mason Mount has revealed which Chelsea legend he's learnt so much off, said which team he ranks as his toughest opponents and explained who the best trainer at Cobham is.

The England international, who has shone in his breakthrough season at Chelsea under Frank Lampard this term, sat down with our official mobile app – The 5th Stand – to talk team-mates in the latest episode of ’90 seconds with’.

While also talking about his Chelsea team-mates, including who has the worst dress sense in the squad, Mason also explained who he feels are the toughest opponents he’s faced with the Blues.

‘Even though it was pre-season, playing against Barcelona was really tough,’ said Mount. ‘They are a fantastic team and have some world-class players.

‘Players like [Sergio] Busquets, [Gerard] Pique and [Antoine] Griezmann are fantastic players, so I’d say Barcelona.

Mason impressed on loan at Derby last season, working under Frank Lampard and Jody Morris at Pride Park, and he was joined at the Rams midway through the campaign by Ashley Cole, who the midfielder claims helped him massively in his development.

‘I was lucky to play with Ash last season at Derby and he’s such a legend at Chelsea,’ revealed Mason.

‘He’s got so much experience in the game and I learnt so much off him. This season, I’d probably say either Willian or N’Golo [Kante]. I’m fortunate to play alongside some world-class players.

‘I think the best trainer should go to Mateo Kovacic. He’s always on it every day in training, always wants to win no matter what and is very competitive.’
