An extraordinary Carabao Cup third-round tie between Chelsea and Leeds at Stamford Bridge finished 6-3 to the home side after we roared back from behind to net a flurry of goals in quick succession.

Brenden Aaronson's strike shortly after the break put the visitors 2-0 up and left us with plenty to do. But Xabi Alonso's quartet of half-time subs soon paid off, with one of the fresh faces, Cole Palmer, netting a quickfire brace to draw us level.

Another sub, Pedro Neto, then put us in front with a fine finish, with those three goals arriving in just seven minutes. Danny Welbeck extended our lead before Dominic Calvert-Lewin reduced the arrears at 4-3.

However, we finished the stronger and added two more goals to make sure of the outcome. Valentin Barco opened his Blues account with a neat strike before Welbeck got his second and our sixth of a remarkable second half.

It was a special night at the Bridge with the home fans returning home in high spirits after a third success in SW6 this season. Here we have selected the best photos for you that help tell the tale of the evening!
