After being held to a 1-1 draw in our opening game of the Women's Super League campaign, the Blues were clearly determined to set the record straight with a display of attacking prowess in Manchester. They didn't disappoint.

We raced into a comfortable first-half lead thanks to goals by Sjoeke Nusken and Keira Walsh, the latter finding the net on her 50th appearance for Chelsea.

The floodgates opened after an hour, when Lauren James, Ellie Carpenter and Lucy Bronze all added their names to the scoresheet, while Sonia Bompastor handed Blues debuts to summer signings Giulia Dragoni and Nelly Las off the bench.
