Goals from Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer ensured Liam Rosenior's first Premier League game as Chelsea head coach ended in victory, with the Blues defeating Brentford at Stamford Bridge.

It wasn't an easy afternoon's work for Chelsea as the Bees, who arrived fifth in the top-flight table, posed a physical challenge. Yet we stood up to that test and opened the scoring in the 26th minute when Joao Pedro thundered a shot home.

Brentford had chances of their own during the contest, including one just after the half-time interval that required an excellent stop from Robert Sanchez. That proved a key moment in the game as, with 14 minutes to play, Cole Palmer converted a penalty won by Liam Delap.

That goal gave the Blues breathing space and, in front of the watching two-time NBA All-Star Joakim Noah and WWE superstar Chelsea Green, we were able to go on and claim our first Premier League victory of Rosenior's tenure – and our first in the top flight since overcoming Everton on December 13.

As always, we have compiled our favourite images from the victory, which you can view below.
