Chelsea moved up to second in the Women's Super League table after coming out on top in a seven-goal thriller with Aston Villa.
After going behind early on, the Blues swiftly turned the game on its head. Goals by Sam Kerr, Naomi Girma and Lauren James took us from one goal down to two goals up at Kingsmeadow.
However, the first half drama wasn't over yet, as the visitors struck twice more to level the scores at 3-3 by the end of a frantic and breathless opening 45 minutes.
The second half featured fewer chances but it was the Blues who took control of the game after the break. We were made to fight hard, but eventually our pressure told, when Sjoeke Nusken finished off a fine team move to net an 82nd-minute winner.
That result took us above Manchester United and Arsenal into second place in the table, in a tight race for a top-three finish and qualification for next season's UEFA Women's Champions League.
