Calum McFarlane has provided the latest on Pedro Neto and Alejandro Garnacho, both of whom missed Chelsea's draw with Liverpool because of injury.

The duo were also absent when we lost to Nottingham Forest earlier this week, with McFarlane confirming in his press conference on Thursday that they were both suffering from muscle problems.

However, the interim head coach had a positive update when speaking after our 1-1 draw at Anfield. He was asked if Neto and Garnacho had a chance of being fit for next weekend's FA Cup final.

'Yeah, we're very hopeful,' McFarlane replied.

'You have to take these things day by day. We're hoping that they'll be available, but you don't know at this moment in time.

'They're going to get back into training [next week], see how they feel, see how it looks. So fingers crossed.'
