Broja’s celebration sparks interest

Terry responds to Rooney’s ‘studs’ admission

Chelsea legend John Terry has responded to Wayne Rooney's comments about wearing ‘longer studs’ during a previous clash between the Blues and Manchester United, The Mirror reports.

The Blues had established Premier League dominance over United and ahead of a crunch game in April 2006, that Chelsea won 3-0, Rooney has admitted to changing his moulded studs to longer metal ones.

After Rooney made the confession, JT responded on Twitter to make light of the admission.

‘@WayneRooney is this when you left your stud in my foot!?’ Terry posted on social media.
