Donnarumma Premier League bound?

FourFourTwo are claiming that AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma could be set for a switch to the Premier League this summer, with Chelsea and Manchester United two of the clubs linked in connection with the Italian.

Donnarumma has already made over 200 appearances for Milan since breaking into the side as a teenager but his contract is set to expire this summer and he will be available on a free transfer.

The report states that the Italian could depart the Rossoneri this summer despite being offered fresh terms.

‘Donnarumma is out of contract at Milan this summer and continues to be linked with some of the world’s biggest clubs,’ says the report.

‘His agent, Mino Raiola, announced earlier this month that both Chelsea and Manchester United have been in touch to see if he would be prepared to move to the Premier League.

‘The 22-year-old has already made more than 200 professional appearances for Milan since breaking into the first team as a teenager.

‘He also has 22 caps for his country, having made his debut against France in 2016, replacing his idol Gianluigi Buffon at half time.

‘Milan have offered Donnarumma improved terms to stay at the San Siro but they fall some way short of the yearly wage being requested.’

The Italian goalkeeper has also been connected with Tottenham, PSG and Juventus in recent weeks.

Pundit praises Kante form

Ian Wright says it is ‘great to see’ N’Golo Kante getting back to his ‘brilliant best’ under Thomas Tuchel.

The Metro claim that former Arsenal striker was thrilled with the Frenchman’s performance in our impressive Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid, with Wright also feeling that our German head coach is getting the best out of the Blues generally.

‘You can see progress with Chelsea,’ Wright said on Ringer FC’s Wrighty’s House podcast.

‘There’s a lot to admire about Chelsea. There’s a lot to admire about the players and the way they are taking on what this manager [Tuchel] wants.

‘I love the way this manager is not involved in anything other than what he’s doing with that team and trying to get them to perform the best they can.

‘It’s great to see [N’Golo] Kante back doing what he does best.’

Mount’s dress sense mocked by team-mate!

Mason Mount’s latest fashion Instagram post has been jokingly questioned by team-mate and close friend, Ben Chilwell.

The England midfielder, who will hope to feature for the Three Lions against San Marino this evening, was pictured on a golf course for a shoot with ‘The Style’ magazine.

Mount was pictured on the green in a Gucci coat, holding a golf pin and driver, while captioning the post as ‘Be different.’

Fashion-conscious Chilwell was quick to comment on Mount’s post, stating: ‘Why are you using a driver on the putting green?’

Willy Caballero also got on the act soon after, commenting: ‘Unacceptable’ in reply to Ben’s comment.
