Blues monitoring Kilman
Chelsea are reportedly considering making a move for Wolves defender Max Kilman in the summer.
According to the Metro, the centre-back is a Chelsea fan, and his strong performances for the West Midlands club this season have allegedly attracted interest from the Blues.
‘Chelsea have been keeping close tabs on Max Kilman and are exploring a possible move for the Wolves defender in the summer transfer window,' according to reports.
‘Kilman, 24, has played an integral role in Wolves’ push for European football this season, starting all 24 of the club’s games in the Premier League,’ the report adds.
‘But Wolves face a battle to keep hold of Kilman given the Englishman has begun to attract strong interest from rivals including Chelsea, the team he has supported since childhood.
‘It’s claimed scouts working for the Blues have been watching over Kilman’s performances in recent weeks and were in attendance as Wolves beat Leicester at Molineux on Sunday.
‘However, Wolves are in no rush to part with their prized possession, who still has four-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal in the West Midlands.’
Zola: 'It made me fall in love'
Gianfranco Zola admits his period in west London was 'the most beautiful moment’ of his illustrious career.
The Italian playmaker was an integral part of the Chelsea side of the late 90s that won the FA Cup, the League Cup, the Cup Winners’ Cup and the Super Cup.
A report by Sport Witness highlights his quotes from a recent interview that are bound to make the Blues faithful smile.
‘Chelsea was the most beautiful moment of my career. Napoli and Parma were also very beautiful experiences who made me grow as a player, but I gave the best version of myself at Chelsea,’ Zola said.
‘I received so much affection from the fans. It made me fall in love of the place and the people.’
Zola also spoke about former skipper Dennis Wise, a player the Italian feels had a 'positive craziness' among all of his previous team-mates.
‘There’s been many, but I’d say Dennis Wise,’ Zola replied. ‘He had a positive craziness. On the pitch, he was capable of becoming like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
‘He was really good with the ball in his feet, very dynamic, but sometimes he became Mr Hyde and could get sent off whenever.’
Looking good, Demba...
Blues fans have been left mesmerised by Demba Ba’s new hairstyle.
The Daily Star shared a report on the former Chelsea forward’s change in hairstyle, after his TV punditry duties this week.
‘Fans have been left in awe at Demba Ba's impressive hairstyle after the iconic former West Ham, Newcastle and Chelsea striker appeared on punditry duty this week,’ the story states.
‘The former Senegal forward, who called time on his professional career in December at the age of 36, was known for his shaved head while smashing home goals in the Premier League.
‘However, some spectators seemed to believe that Ba had actually lost his hair through the misfortune of male pattern baldness - but that seems to be far from the truth.
‘Ba in fact had a longer style throughout the last few years of his career, but fans have only just clocked that he seemingly chose to shave it off throughout his time in England.’
