In a programme exclusive, Malard says she can now think about 'the good life' as she reflects on a summer in which she made the move from Manchester to London, received a Ballon d’Or nomination and got married as well. She’s also looking forward after getting her first taste of life in a Blues shirt.

'In this team, we have a lot of players that can make so much difference with their quality, speed, vision, and dribbling,' she says. 'For the No9 like me, that’s an amazing thing when you play in this team.'

She also discusses head coach Bompastor, with whom she goes way back, and admits she can’t wait to get out there for this massive derby game.

'I think it means a lot in London, it’s a big day in English football – two big teams, with big players, a lot of fans, in a big stadium. I can’t wait because when you play football, you want games like this coming, and I hope when this game comes, we will win!'
