Moises Caicedo and Kendry Paez have both been named in Ecuador's squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
Moises will travel as one of the more experienced and established members of Ecuador's squad, with 60 international caps to his name and having captained his country in several matches during their impressive qualifying campaign.
Caicedo is joined in the squad by Paez, who is currently on loan at River Plate in Argentina. The 19-year-old has already represented his country on 24 occasions, 12 of which came during qualifying for this World Cup.
Ecuador finished second in South American qualifying, with their two defeats and five goals conceded from 18 matches both the lowest of any team.
They are in Group E for the tournament, beginning with a game against the Ivory Coast in Philadelphia on Sunday 14 June, before taking on Curacao (Kansas City, 20 June) and Germany (New Jersey, 25 June) in their other two group fixtures.
