After completing his move from Genk to Chelsea, the shirt number Mike Penders will wear for the Blues has been revealed.
It was announced last August the young goalkeeper would join Chelsea at the end of the 2024/25 season after seeing out the campaign with Genk.
Penders has now been given a squad number with the Blues following the completion of that move, and will wear No.39 on the back of his shirt for Chelsea.
The 19-year-old made 26 appearances for Genk last season, keeping seven clean sheets as they finished nine points clear at the top of the table in the Belgian top flight, before coming third in the play-offs to qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
You can get your hands on a 'Penders 39' shirt by clicking here but supporters are reminded the full list of squad numbers for the 2025/26 season will be finalised once the summer transfer window shuts in September and remain subject to change until that point.
