Millie Bright received a guard of honour at the end of our 1-0 win over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, and took to the microphone to thank Chelsea fans for their support over her 12 years with the club.

The day began as Bright was honoured on the Shed Wall at Stamford Bridge, and it was also revealed that the sensory room at the stadium had been named in her honour.

Before the match kicked off, the captain led the Chelsea team out for the final time, and supporters in the West Stand unfurled a giant banner which recognised her contribution over the last 12 years.

Bright has been present for every one of our 20 trophies collected over 314 appearances for the club. And after the final whistle, a guard of honour was formed by Chelsea players, staff, family and friends to honour her incredible service.

'It's been an honour to play for this club,' an emotional Bright said to fans in the stands after we ended our Women's Super League campaign with a 1-0 victory, courtesy of a goal from the also departing Sam Kerr.

'To raise the standard, and be part of this incredible group. And to the Chelsea fans, your support over the last twelve years has been incredible.

'It's been an honour to represent you, to be captain, and now to lead you into another golden era for the club. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I love you all, let's celebrate!'
