The start of October means the Play Predictor monthly leaderboard has been reset, giving fans another chance to win starting from Saturday’s match against Crystal Palace.
September saw a homegrown supporter from the UK crowned as Play Predictor’s first monthly winner. Phil, a season ticket holder in the Matthew Harding Stand lower, managed to top the table and win big, with a huge 219 points by entering his predictions for all five of our matches last month.
‘I thought I would give it a try and it was very easy to find and make my predictions on the app,’ said Phil. ‘I am totally amazed that with 175,000 people playing I came top. I’m well happy and cannot wait to start spending my Megastore voucher!’
Now there’s a chance for you to do the same, with a £500 Megastore voucher and a signed merchandise bundle up for grabs for the supporter in first place every month.
All you need to do is predict seven match events to score points – the final score, first Chelsea goalscorer, minute of first Chelsea goal, number of shots, number of shots on target, number of corners and possession.
The more accurate your prediction, the more points you’ll score and the higher up the leaderboard you’ll climb. Make your predictions for every match in October for the best chance of winning.
Not sure you can top the table for the month? There are also prizes available after every match, including a £100 Megastore voucher and signed shirt. With four Premier League fixtures in October, plus the return of Champions League action, that makes for plenty of chances to win.
Last month five fans secured the match prize, including the most recent winner Dani from Argentina, who was one of those rewarded for backing Timo Werner as our first scorer when the German got his first Chelsea goal against Tottenham on Tuesday evening.
‘I have never won anything in my entire life and winning this one is an honour,’ added Dani. ‘I love my club and this prize for me represents the reciprocal love Chelsea has for every single fan across the entire world. Thank you Chelsea for everything you give us.’
Werner was comfortably supporters’ favourite pick in that category, being chosen in a massive 60 per cent of predictions during September. Tammy Abraham and Kai Havertz were neck and neck in second place. The precise scoreline has proved to be a little tougher to anticipate so far, with 1.4 per cent of all predictions proving to be correct at the final whistle.
You can now enter your predictions for Crystal Palace on The 5th Stand app. Play Predictor opens 48 hours before kick-off and closes one hour before kick-off. Make sure you submit your predictions early to avoid missing out.
