Aggie Beever-Jones has signed a contract extension with Chelsea Women which commits her to the club until the summer of 2025, and will now go on a season-long loan to Women’s Super League side Everton.

A product of the Chelsea Academy, Beever-Jones signed her first professional deal last summer, on the day she turned 18.

The young striker made her senior debut for the club in a 4-0 away win against Aston Villa in the 2020/21 campaign.

Beever-Jones spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Championship side Bristol City, where she helped the team to a third-place finish in the second tier.

Reflecting on the news, Chelsea Women general manager Paul Green said: ‘We see this as a good opportunity for Aggie to develop WSL minutes.

‘She’s coming off the back of a really good season with Bristol City and we feel this is an important part in the next steps in her development, going into the same league as us. We look forward to seeing her have a successful season with Everton.’

This follows the recent announcements that fellow young Blues Jorja Fox, Emma Thompson and Lucy Watson have gone on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion, Lewes and Charlton Athletic respectively.
