Chelsea's FA Youth Cup campaign will belatedly get underway in the new year, with a rearranged date now set.
The young Blues will take on Bradford City in the third round on Saturday 7 January, kick-off 1pm. The game will take place at Kingsmeadow.
Ed Brand's side were due to play the Bantams earlier this month but a frozen pitch prevented the match from taking place.
We last faced Bradford in the 2019/20 season in this same competition as a 5-0 victory saw us past the progress on that occasion.
Tickets purchased for the original match remain valid for the revised date. Supporters who are unable to attend on this revised date can claim a refund no later than 48 hours before kick-off. In order to claim a refund supporters should email [email protected] with the order number and supporter details.
In other Academy fixture news, the Under-18s league game versus West Brom, due to be played on the new date for the FA Youth Cup tie, will be given a new date.
The PL2 away fixture against Fulham has been moved to Sunday 22 January.
The Under-17 Premier League Cup quarter-final against Southampton has been confirmed for Wednesday 25 January.
