Teddy Sharman-Lowe has signed a new contract with Chelsea and the goalkeeper will now spend next season on loan at League One Bolton Wanderers.

The 22-year-old has agreed a new deal until 2028 following a successful loan spell at Doncaster Rovers, where he played every minute on their way to the League Two title.

Sharman-Lowe spent time at Leicester City and Burton Albion as a youngster before signing for Chelsea as a 17-year-old in September 2020.

An immediate return to Burton was followed by further loan moves to Havant and Waterlooville in National League South, where he made 21 appearances, Bromley in the division above and then Doncaster this term.

Sharman-Lowe, who has been an unused substitute for Chelsea's senior team on three occasions, is currently away with England Under-21s as the Young Lions look to retain the Under-21 Euro title won in 2023, when Levi Colwill, Noni Madueke and Cole Palmer were all part of the squad.

Congratulations on the new contract Teddy and good luck both this summer and next season at Bolton.
