Chelsea Football Club is pleased to announce Academy attacker Mathis Eboue has signed his first professional contract with the club following his 17th birthday.
Eboue joined the Blues from Watford in January 2025 and has made an immediate impact both on and off the pitch.
During his time at Watford, he made his Under-21s debut while still in his Under-16s age group, highlighting his rapid development at an early stage.
Eboue began his first full season at Chelsea with the Under-18s and marked his introduction with a goal in a 4-2 away victory against Crystal Palace. He has also made his UEFA Youth League debut, featuring in a 5-2 win over Benfica at Cobham.
The attacking midfielder has gone on to make 16 appearances for the Under-18s this season, becoming a regular presence in the side and scoring three goals across all competitions.
His strong form has earned recognition at international level. Eboue made his England Under-17s debut in September 2025 and has since been a consistent member of the squad. In November, he capped off his progress by scoring a hat-trick in England’s 5-2 victory over the USA.
Congratulations, Mathis!
